Promising results for the vaccine against A H1N1 flu
The first results of the trials with A (H1N1) vaccine seems encouraging. The New England Journal of Medicine published a series of articles on September 11 indicating that the tested vaccines – those of the australian lab CSL and those of the swiss Novartis – initiate a reaction from the immune system towards the virus responsible of the current pandemia, even with one injection.

Chavez aknowledges the independance of the separatist regions of Georgia
MOSCOW (AFP) – The President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, recognizes the independence of Georgia’s two separatist regions, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. This came with great satisfaction by Moscow, who promised to keep delivering weapons.

Turkish media group is condemned after protesting against the government
The Tax Turkish ministry has imposed a 2.5 billion dollar fine to the Dogan Yayin media group, a newspaper and television conglomerate who has been specifically critical of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s Prime Minister and strong man.

Quite frankly, the lead single was pretty weak. The online single that was uncovered as part of the band's viral campaign, however, was actually quite good. Had a bit of a Queen vibe to it in the guitar, which I was particularly fond of. I doubt I'll have gotten over my Porcupine Tree infatuation by the time this drops next week, though...
