Brazil cuts backs on oil production
In the past few months, Brazil’s national oil company has become one of the world’s five biggest capitalizations. The reason of this stock market growth is simple: since 2007, 200 kilometres from Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, in a zone as vast as Mexico’s Gulf and by 6000 meters down, oil reserves are discovered. They will, no doubt, transform Brazil into one of the biggest black gold producers by 2020. “We’ll then produce 3,9 million barrels a day, and 5 to 7 million if we had the natural gas”, explains to Le Monde the CEO, José Sergio Gabrielli. This equals nearly half of the current Russian or Saudi production.

Hadopi II is adopted against illegal downloading
“I’m very happy about this vote. It valids a text that respect the balance between each and other’s interests," has declared Jean-François Copé, as the Hadopi II law was adopted by the National Assembly, by a majority of 285 voices against 225. A short majority, has specified by the socialist deputy Patrick Bloche, long-time adversary of the project, “It seems that numerous deputies from the UMP didn’t come."
