TIFF 2009: DEFENDOR

Defendor is a very touching film about a man that is enraged by the gangs that are destroying his streets and decides to dawn a mask to fight the criminals on their own level. While the film can be seen as highly controversial, especially because of Arthur’s mental condition, the film is still a great satire on the superhero genre while also being a touching tale of what one man is able to do to change the world.

In his 20-year career, Dirk Eichhorst has earned a living as a writer, director, production manager, and editor for documentary, promotional, educational, and narrative videos. FILM REVIEW: A BOY AND HIS DOG

It seems that there's a rapidly growing expectation that we will all be living in a post-apocalyptic future in the next 100 years or so.
I'll admit, I had the romantic dream that zombies might attack, and I might need to fight to stay alive in a run down city armed only with maltov cocktails and a shotgun (while running low on ammo).
After reading The Road and playing Fallout 3, I wanted to watch a post-nuke movie.
A friend at work told me about A Boy and His Dog.
