FILM REVIEW: FRONTIER(S)
Monday, November 9, 2009 at 5:07PM |
Mitchell Tully Frontier(s) is Xavier Gens' first attempt at a feature length film and is done in the same vein as other French cult horror films like High Tension (2003), Martyrs (2008) and Inside (2007). The film takes place in a not so distant future where France has just elected a fascist government into power, and as a result several riots break out both protesting and celebrating the victory. Several criminals use these riots as cover for robbing and looting the city.
